Kerry Bramley is a photographer, who received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Montserrat College of Art in May 2022, with a concentration in Photography, Video, and Film. During her academic career, her work has been featured in the Montserrat Junior Showcase, and in the Montserrat Open House. Kerry works with both digital and analog processes to express her experiences and ideas. Her goal is to capture fleeting moments between the people around her, and to share the things and feelings she finds interesting in the world. Kerry’s work is inspired by other female artists and photographers, and the idea of representing women in media. She enjoys empowering her female subjects through photography. Kerry frequently appropriates words and text as a way to tell a story, utilizing various sources within the work. She looks to find intimacy and personal connections within the people surrounding her.
